I am J.C. Luxton. I purvey fine writings. Hence the title of this auction. If you're having trouble following this so far, you probably shouldn't be bidding for me. Here is a picture of me, J.C. Luxton, purveyor of fine writings:

As you can see, I am pensive and intense, as you might expect, given my line of work. Some say that my physiognomy also reflects a certain writerly charm--a ruggedness of spirit, if you will. I am not the best judge of such things, however, so please examine the picture closely and judge for yourself. No refunds will be granted on the basis of physiognomy, only on the basis of demonstrable lack of fineness in my writings. And on that front, I assure you, you will find no cause for complaint.

Should you hire me to purvey your fine writings, I will accept your bid as a retainer. Subsequent costs will include room, board, and a reasonable number of books to support my work as I execute your requested projects. Room and board will continue for fourteen (14) days after each project is completed to allow me to find other fine writings to purvey, but your projects will always come first. Room and board may be provided at your home or elsewhere; if I live with you, romantic involvement is not included in the terms of this agreement, but supplemental terms can be negotiated, probably eagerly.

I will not here describe the nature of the fine writings I will purvey. If you do not know already wherein lies the nature of fine writings, do not bid. I will accept check, money order, or Paypal.
