Point 28: Sentence Momentum

Maintain momentum by keeping subjects close to their verbs. Each of these sentences illustrates its own point:

Some sentences, by placing a phrase or clause between a subject and its verb, break their momentum.

Other sentences maintain their pace by linking subjects with verbs.
