*#67 is an optional challenge problem. The integral is a famous counterexample which is often used to motivate the study of 20th century integration theory. The function f is not Riemann integrable, but f is "Lebesgue integrable." Lebesgue invented a new way to define integration; the Riemann integral is a special case of the Lebesgue integral.

Explain the proof of the fundamental theorem of calculus as carefully as you can. One way to make sure you can do this without the help of the book is to change the notation from class notes and Stewart; I highly recommend that you use your own notation for this essay.
