There will be three in-class 50-minute exams on September 16, October 12, and November 11. There will also be a comprehensive final exam on Wednesday, December 14 at 2:00 PM. Don't make flight arrangements or other plans that will require you to take an alternate exam. Those who do will lose a letter grade on their exam.
HomeworkHomework assignments will be due every class day.
Homework is graded out of 15 points. Late homework will not be
accepted.
Some homework problems will come from sections that we have not yet
discussed in class. You'll need to read the text, especially the examples,
before attempting these problems.
You should avoid checking the back of the book for answers to problems. It's usually inaccurate!
Time CommitmentPlan to spend 10-12 hours weekly outside of class.
